Clifton Food Range® and CHEF® have joined forces to bring together the latest culinary food trends and cutting edge equipment, through demonstration events throughout the year, in different parts of the UK.
The first event was held at Weston College, Weston-super-Mare and explored the theme ‘The Best of British’ a trend that Chef® has identified as ruling globally in 2012. Events such as the Olympics and Queen’s Jubilee play a significant part in this trend, which are expected to ignite national pride and interest in all things British.
The event ran from 1.30pm until 4.30pm on 4th April. Rob Marles, Nestlé Development Chef led the group through a range of different recipes and techniques, using the Clifton Food Range® water baths and CHEF® brand products. The group of chefs watched the fascinating demonstrations and tasted the textures and flavours that can be achieved with sous vide cooking.
The event was very successful and enjoyed by all that attended.
