James Knight-Pacheco has returned to Dubai after being offered an executive chef position at the prestigious Dubai Marina Yacht Club.
Clifton user James has previously worked in the Middle East, where he was based at The Six Senses Resort and Spa in Zighy Bay, Oman, as chef de cuisine.
James has over 14 years experience in the catering industry, working at Michelin starred restaurants including The Square, London, and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Oxfordshire. As well as working at these restaurants, James has also worked with top chefs Gordon Ramsay, Michael Caines MBE and Raymond Blanc.
Previously James was based in Falmouth, Cornwall, where he used Clifton water baths and was appointed executive chef of St. Michaels Hotel, on Gyllyngvase Beach.
James has been using Clifton baths for many years. He states “I would advise any professional chef to use Clifton Food Range water baths, perfection and excellence is delivered every single time.”
James also has extensive experience within the media, featured in two prime time BBC shows; and a TV show called “Out of the Frying Pan” which aired in the UK and countries such as USA, Russia and Denmark. He has also been involved in many live demonstrations, including the BBC Good Food Show, and the annual Thermomix Demonstrators Conference.
James will now be at Dubai Marina Yacht Club, showcasing his talent as executive chef and creating dishes for the club’s Cafe Bistro, lounge and sports lounge, Aquara restaurant and private dining services.
