Added to stocks, sauces and other prepared meals, the freeze dried items will rehydrate to be almost as fresh as the day they were first prepared. The flavours, smells and nutritional content remains unchanged.

The freeze drying process involves prefreezing in the condenser or in the Clifton -90 ℃ freezer. This converts water to ice and the vacuum process removes the ice as vapour without going through the liquid stage – this process is called sublimation.
