From England to Australia…

Sous Vide Australia, our Australian distributor will be exhibiting at Fine Food Australia between 11th and 14th September 2017 at the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour.

Honey, Honey, Honey

Honey season has arrived again and the Clifton bees have been very busy pollinating all of the beautiful flowers in the magnificent Clifton garden!

At Clifton we like to give back to our bees so we ensure that we make their surroundings are as good as they can possibly be so they can produce us some local honey, literally on our doorstep!

28 Litre Unstirred Water Bath

Using the same high precision controller found on all other Clifton Food Range® products, accuracy and repeatability are guaranteed. Actual temperature is clearly displayed to 0.1°C.

The stability of the 28 unstirred water bath is ± 0.2°C and the uniformity is ± 0.1°C.

If required, the integrated timer can be set between 1 minute and 99 hours. There is audio/visual notification at the end of the set period after which the bath still continues to operate at the set temperature. Current time and temperature settings are retained in memory even after ‘power off’.

Side lifting handles make it easy to carry the bath around the kitchen and the drain tap allows quick emptying for cleaning. The product is supplied with a stainless steel lid which has an easy grab insulated handle. The bath is also supplied with a removable stainless steel perforated shelf which provides effective distribution of heat uniformly throughout the chamber by convection.


28 Litre Stirred Water Bath

This 28 litre stirred bath consists of an unheated stainless tank housed in a stainless steel case. To one side is a bridge unit which has an immersion circulator fitted. This simultaneously heats and stirs the water creating a highly stable environment accurate to ±0.01°C.

Pouches are prevented from contacting the heater stirrer mechanism by a stainless steel guard. The stirring propeller is manufactured from high quality stainless steel.

The controller can be rotated so that the bath can be used ‘side to side’ or ‘end on’ to optimise left to right counter top space. It can also be rotated so it can be viewed from virtually any angle. As the stirrer rotates through 3 main principle viewing angles, the chef can choose whether the lid opens on the left hand side of the tank, or the right.

The heater/stirrer unit can be easily removed to assist cleaning.

This year we’ll be at The Restaurant Show 2017 at Olympia!

We’ll be on stand GH41 with Multivac UK and over the three days we’ll be there to help you with any sous vide questions you may have. The Clifton experts are on hand!

On our stand we’ll have a wide range of product including our popular Immersion Circulator, Sauce Bottlewarmer™, Stirred Water Baths and a range of Unstirred Water Baths.

As well as our popular products, we’ll have some chef tweezers and double-ended tasting spoons.

We will also have a brand new sous vide accessory for everyone to see, so keep your eyes peeled, chefs are going to love it!

Cocktail ‘o’Clock!

It’s finally Friday!!

Cocktails may be one of the best inventions to grace our planet; from Martinis to Bellinis!

But our signature sous vide cocktail is the classic Bloody Mary…with a sous vide twist! With a great mix of complex flavours including tangy lemon, infused thyme with a slight hint of savoury from the beef stock…all rolled into one big flavoursome tomato drink!

For another show!

Once again this June we exhibited at the Commercial Kitchen Show at the NEC, Birmingham; this follows from the success we had last year and we’ve continued to support the show in its second year running.

It was great to meet new distributors and suppliers who are interested in our famous orange handles and BRAND NEW FOR 2017, The Clifton Ducks! – we look forward to building a relationship with you in the near future! It was also fantastic to see many of our current distributors at the show and we look forward to developing our relationships with you.

This show, once again, was a great success for us and we are excited to say we’ll be back in 2018!

Clifton in Yate!

Back in May, Clifton Food Range held a distributor training session with Yate Supplies in Bristol with support from their UK Sales Agent, Signature FSE. The aim of the day was to offer information and training to staff on Clifton Food Range products and have an open day where Yate Supplies’ customers were given the opportunity to see the water baths in action in a live food demonstration by RAF Chef David ‘Davey’-Smith.


Commercial Kitchen Show

In six weeks time we’ll be heading back up to the Midlands for the second Commercial Kitchen Show. Last year we met a lot of great chefs and distributors with whom we have built up some great relationships.

This year we’ll featuring some of our popular sous vide water baths and our Sauce Bottlewarmer™ which have all been designed and manufactured in our Weston-super-Mare factory.

We’ll have a range of our popular water baths on our stand, including our Portable Immersion Circulator which is great for chefs who want portability in a kitchen. Our unstirred water bath range to which our larger models have an accessory of a bi-fold lid to allow ease for chefs in the kitchen will also be on show.

We’ll also have a large range of accessories which includes our carry case which has been specifically designed for the Immersion Circulator so that is stays safe in the kitchen and whilst in transit. On the stand will also be a variety of plating tweezers and double-ended tasting spoons.

Product Highlight – 14/14 Litre Duobath

If you want more space and even more diversity in the kitchen then our 14/14 Duobath™ could be what you’re looking for.

All of our Duobaths™ have been designed and manufactured so that each individual side can be operated at two different temperatures simultaneously. All times and temperatures are retained in the bath’s memory even after it has been switched off.

If only one side is needed during service, it is possible to switch off one of the controllers to allow only one side of the Duobath™ to be used.

As with all of our water baths the temperature can be set between ambient +5°C – 95°C, the temperature is displayed to 0.1°C. The timer can be set between 1 minute and 99 hours so can be used for short periods or for long overnight cooks.

The 14/14 litre Duobath™ is large enough to suit 50+ covers.

As with all our Duobaths™, there are two drain taps on the unit for easy emptying and comes complete with two perforated trays for even heat distribution and two flat stainless steel lids with our insulated signature orange handle.
